Welcome to the Ellis Farm Labrador Retrievers. We breed English Yellow Labrador Retrievers. Our puppies are ideal companions for adults and children alike. Our dogs are not kept in outdoor kennels, but are important members of our family. All of our puppies are carefully raised to be happy in a setting which includes children, dogs, and occassional visits from cats. From their earliest beginnings, pups are exposed to a host of normal household noises such as vacuums, dish washers, coffee grinders and washing machines, all aimed at easing their transition from our home to yours. By the time our puppies go home, they have also been introduced to the outdoors as the appropriate place to relieve themselves which should help speed up the process of house breaking. Yellow Labradors have become very popular over the last few decades and, should you be interested in more information, please email or call us and we will be more than happy to be of help. We are pleased to announce that 'Annika' is expecting a litter in the first week of March 2025, puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at the end of April or beginning of May. If you're wondering about the best time of the year to acquire a Labrador puppy, mid spring is probably it. Besides being neither stinking hot, nor frigidly cold and snowy, May and June give families sufficient time to complete the potty training process and set up training routines before the chaotic months of summer arrive, when schedules are more erratic and routines tend to fall by the wayside. Lily is now 10 and still going strong. She is a beautiful, sweet, gentle dog & we love her to bits . We didn't hesitate to call Ellis Farms when we decided to get another puppy & Patti & Peter once again welcomed us into their home to visit Mommy to be, Annika, & kept us informed right up to the day our Poppy was born. Right away we were invited to visit anytime to watch the pups grow & enjoy time with the other labs in their home. Poppy is now 10 months old, she is a spirited girl with so much confidence.
